Inventory lists
Introduction
In the afosto.com system, you use inventory lists to check and update the stock of specific products. With these lists, you can select products that need to be inventoried. If products are on the list but not counted, the system will automatically update their stock to 0.
Creating an Inventory List
In the Afosto app section, you can create an inventory list by going to the products section. Then, click on 'Create Inventory List'.
Next, select the location and company for which you want to conduct the inventory. Choosing the correct location and company is crucial because:
- This ensures that only the stock for that specific location and company is updated, preventing accidental updates to stock in another store or warehouse.
Advanced Filtering Options
When creating an inventory list, afosto.com offers advanced filtering options to determine which products appear on the list. You can filter by, for example:
- Brand
- Year
- Category
- Specific product attributes such as color, size, material, etc.
Example of making a selection:
- Select "Shoes" as the category and "2023" as the year for a targeted inventory of shoes from the past year.
Adding Products
With the following options, you can decide which products to add to your inventory list:
- A selection of products: Add specific products you choose yourself.
- A filtered view: Use filters to add products that meet certain criteria.
- All products: Add all available products to the list.
- No products: Start with an empty list and manually add products when needed.
Reference
You can add a reference to easily recognize the lists that you create later.
Processing the Inventory List
Currently, processing the inventory can only be done in the WMS (Warehouse Management System) app. For this, you need to go to scan.afosto.app.
Then, go to 'Inventory' and choose 'Bulk without position'. Here you will find an overview of the inventory lists you just created.
'Bulk without position' means that you are inventorying products without assigning them to a specific location in the warehouse.
