Customization

Afosto allows you to customize the look and feel of your Hosted Checkout to better align with your brand identity. You can adjust elements such as the favicon, logo, primary color, and text color. The following instructions will guide you through this customization process.

To set a favicon and logo for your checkout:

  1. Begin by navigating to the admin application at admin.afosto.app.
  2. Once there, access your channels by selecting "Channels" from the available options.
  3. Open your channel of interest. Under the "General" section, you will find options to change both the favicon and logo.

Please note that your logo and favicon should ideally be square-shaped and in a web-friendly format (such as .png or .jpg). For best results, the logo should also have a transparent background.

Changing the Primary and Text Colors

To update your checkout's primary and text colors:

  1. Follow the same steps as above to navigate to your channel within the admin application.
  2. This time, locate the "Checkout" section. Here, you'll find the options to alter the primary color and text color.

Be sure to choose a color scheme that is visually pleasing and easy for customers to read. Remember that your primary color will be used for key call-to-action elements (like buttons), while the text color will be used for information and labels.

By taking the time to customize your checkout, you can ensure a seamless brand experience, reinforcing customer trust and loyalty throughout the purchase process.

More Customization: Create a Custom Checkout

If the customization options outlined above don't fully meet your needs or if you want to further customize the checkout experience for your customers, consider building a custom checkout.

Creating a custom checkout allows you to fully tailor the checkout process, providing more flexibility and control over its design, features, and flow. You can optimize each step according to your business requirements and customer preferences, ultimately helping to enhance user experience and conversion rates.

With the Afosto GraphQL API, you can build a fully customized checkout in any environment. You'll have the power to integrate a range of unique elements, such as custom fields, personalized messaging, and advanced marketing integrations.

Remember that building a custom checkout requires a greater degree of development work compared to using the hosted checkout. However, the potential benefits in terms of conversion rate optimization and customer satisfaction can make it a worthwhile investment.
