Guest account
When a customer places an order without logging in or registering first, the order is placed as a guest. All orders placed as a guest have no correlation and are not merged into a single customer card.
Account
All orders placed by logged-in users are collected under a single customer card and can later be viewed in the 'My account' section. Orders that were previously placed as a guest cannot be viewed in 'My account'.
DEFAULT: Privacy and legislation Because it cannot be determined with certainty that the current owner of the linked account was also the owner of the email address at the time the guest order was placed, these orders are not automatically merged under a single customer card.
Manually merging guest accounts
It is possible to merge guest accounts with registered accounts, so that earlier orders become visible under a single customer card (the registered account). For now, please submit a request to Afosto Support. In the near future you will also be able to do this yourself through the interface.
