Shop, webshop and warehouse on one stock
Afosto is the commerce platform for retailers who sell both in store and online. The till, your webshop, marketplaces and the warehouse all work on the same stock and the same orders. No connectors that sync, no double entry.

What is omnichannel retail software?
Omnichannel retail software is software that lets all your sales channels (physical shop, webshop, marketplaces) work on the same stock, the same orders and the same customer view. A customer who orders online and returns in the shop is then not an exception you fix by hand, but a normal order in your system. Most retailers build this with connections: a till package, a webshop platform and a stock program that keep each other up to date through syncs. Afosto works the other way around. Till, webshop, order management and warehouse are apps on the same platform (that is called unified commerce):
Afosto is built for retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium who work with their own stock, from a single shop to dozens of locations. It is not a platform for dropshippers without stock and it is not a hospitality till.
One stock
the shop, your webshop and marketplaces sell from the same stock, tracked per location
Every sale is an order
a receipt at the till gets an order number in the same order system as your webshop orders
One customer view and one price engine
customer history and price agreements apply in every channel, from the shop counter to the checkout
A day in practice
A Saturday in an omnichannel shop
This is what a busy shop day looks like when all channels run on the same platform, recorded on our demo environment. From the webshop orders at opening to the customer collecting their online order at the counter.
- Step 1
Webshop orders and receipts in one list
At opening you see all of the night’s orders together: from your webshop, from Bol.com or Kaufland and yesterday’s receipts at the till. Everything is an order in the same list, with the same statuses. You see straight away what needs picking, shipping or setting aside today.

- Step 2
The shop sells from the same stock
A customer pays at the counter. That receipt is immediately an order with its own order number, in the same system as your webshop orders. The stock is deducted at once, so you do not keep selling online what just went over the counter. Discounts, returns and deposits are all handled from the same till screen.

- Step 3
Click and collect is ready in the shop
A customer orders online and chooses to collect at your location. The sales channel has that shop as its collection point, so the order appears on the pick list of exactly that location. Once your team has set it aside, that is reported back to the channel the order came from.

- Step 4
The warehouse picks and ships the rest
Shipping orders reach the right team through pick list presets, filtered by location, delivery date or channel, on paper or on the handheld scanner. On shipping, the track and trace code goes back automatically to the channel the order came from, marketplaces included.

- Step 5
One customer view, from webshop to counter
The customer who walks in at five o’clock ordered online last week. You see their orders and details on one customer card, whether they bought at the till, in the webshop or through customer service. Link an organisation to the receipt and business price agreements apply in the shop too.

Everything above happens in the same system. There is no sync running behind and no second administration you update after closing time.
Retail in numbers
Why retailers choose one platform
Stock for shop, webshop and marketplaces, tracked per location
Transaction fees from Afosto on top of your payments
From a single shop to dozens of locations on the same platform
Consumer and business customer at the same till, each with their own prices
You do not have to give up your webshop
Moving to omnichannel retail software with Afosto does not mean replacing everything at once. Afosto sits as an order and stock layer under your existing sales channels, and you set the pace yourself:
Want to run the webshop itself on Afosto later too? You can, but you do not have to. Many retailers start with order management and stock and expand from there.
Keep your current webshop
Afosto connects with Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento), WooCommerce and Lightspeed eCom. Orders come in automatically, stock goes back to the shop
Marketplaces on top
sell on Bol.com and Kaufland with direct integrations, or connect marketplaces running on Mirakl. Orders come in as normal Afosto orders and stock is written back per marketplace
A till whenever you want
put Afosto POS on an iPad in the shop and your counter sales run on the same stock as your webshop
Multiple locations
stock is tracked per location, with its own column per shop in your product overview. Orders are routed to the right location
“The system is just foolproof. Someone standing here for the first time is up to speed within a day or two without making mistakes: the error-prone steps are taken out by the system.”
FAQ
Frequently asked questions from retailers
The questions retailers ask us most often before they bring shop and webshop together.
What is omnichannel retail software?
Software that lets all your sales channels (physical shop, webshop, marketplaces) work on the same stock, orders and customer data. A sale in the shop counts towards the stock of your webshop straight away, and an online customer can be helped in the shop with their full history. In Afosto, till, webshop, order management and warehouse are apps on the same platform, so this works without syncs.
What is the difference between omnichannel and unified commerce?
Omnichannel describes the customer experience: the customer can buy, collect and return through any channel. Unified commerce describes the technology behind it: all channels run on the same platform with the same database, instead of separate systems synced with connectors. Afosto is unified commerce: the till and the webshop do not talk through a connector, they read and write the same orders and stock.
Can I keep using my existing webshop?
Yes. Afosto connects with Shopify, Adobe Commerce (Magento), WooCommerce and Lightspeed eCom and sits as an order and stock layer under your existing shop. Orders are imported automatically as Afosto orders and current stock is written back to your webshop. You can still run the webshop itself on Afosto later, but that is your call.
Does Afosto support click and collect?
Yes. You set a collection point per sales channel. Orders for collection appear on the pick list of that location, so the shop team can set them aside. As soon as the order is ready for collection, that is reported back automatically to the channel the order came from, for example your webshop.
Does Afosto work with multiple locations?
Yes. Stock is tracked per warehouse or shop location, and in your product overview every active location gets its own stock column. Orders are routed to the right location based on availability and location, and for platforms that work with stock per location that stock is synced per location too.
Which retailers is Afosto not a fit for?
Afosto is built for retailers with their own stock who sell in store and online, from fashion and interior to specialist shops, both B2C and B2B. It is not a platform for dropshippers without their own stock, and the till is not a hospitality till: table management or a kitchen display is not part of it.
