Setting Up Your Checkout Domain

Verifying your checkout domain consists of two steps.

1. Verify domain ownership
2. Set up a subdomain for use with the checkout

Verify domain ownership

First, you need to verify that you own the primary domain you want to use for the checkout. You will need access to your DNS settings for this.

Start the verification process by going to 'My organisation' and navigating to 'Domains'. In the top right corner, click 'add'.

Enter the URL of the domain you want to use and click next.

You will now see instructions showing the details you need to enter in your DNS settings. Once you have done that, click verify. Note: verification may not happen immediately. It can take up to half an hour.

Set up a subdomain

Next, you need to set up the subdomain where you want to use the checkout. For example:

https://checkout.mywebshop.com https://pay.mywebshop.com

Add the subdomain by clicking 'Add option' next to the domain you verified above.

Now choose 'Checkout'.

You then have two options:

1. Use the primary domain for your checkout. In this case you use no subdomain.

2. Use a subdomain for your checkout. You do use a subdomain, such as 'checkout.mywebshop.com'. This is the option most people choose.

Click 'Use a subdomain of my primary domain' and enter the subdomain you want to use. Click next.

You will again see instructions showing the details you need to enter in your DNS settings. Once you have done that, click verify. Note: verification may not happen immediately. It can take up to half an hour.
