Installing Quicq on a Magento 2 website

You would like to integrate Quicq to Magento 2. This is very easy, you only need to adjust 1 setting in your webshop.

Follow the steps below.

Step 1

Login to the backend of your Magento 2 webshop.

Step 2

Click on Stores in the left menu.

Step 3

Now click on Configuration (under Settings):

Now click (under General) on Web.

Step 5

Go to Base URLs and edit the last field: Base URL for User Media Files. For both the normal Base URLs and the Secure Base URLs.

Step 6

In the base URL you enter the value of your own Quicq cdn this structure is as follows: https://cdn.quicq.io/[jouw-url-key]/

You can find this URL in the proxy overview of Quicq in the admin section of the Afosto app: https://admin.afosto.app/quicq/proxies

Step 7

Now click on Save Config in the upper right corner.

Step 8

A yellow bar will now appear on the screen (at the top); don't panic, this is part of the process.

Step 9

In this message, click on Cache Management.

Step 10

Now click on Flush Magento Cache in the top right corner.

Your Magento 2 store is now configured to load images via Quicq.
