Update Product Stock

This guide explains how to update product stock using the Batch Job functionality in Afosto. All activated batch jobs for your account can be found under the lightning icon in the red top menu in Afosto.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to the Batch Overview

1. Log in at app.afosto.com
2. Go to ‘Batches’
3. Click the icon to open the batch overview
4. You are now on the overview page of batch actions

Step 2: Select the Correct Batch Job

1. Go to the ‘Products’ tab in the batch jobs overview
2. Scroll down until you see ‘Update Product Stock’
3. Click ‘Start’

Step 3: Enter a Reference and Select a Warehouse

A screen will open where you need to:

• Enter a reference name (required field). This helps you recognize the batch job when managing multiple tasks. Use a logical and descriptive name.
• Select the warehouse for which you want to update the stock.

Click ‘Next’ to continue.

Step 4: Enter the Data

A screen with columns will appear. Batch jobs in Afosto always use the EAN or SKU as the product reference.

• Enter the EANs or SKUs in the first column.
• Enter the updated stock quantities in the second column.

Click ‘Save’ to complete the batch job.

The example below shows how the columns should be formatted when updating the stock for the three specified EANs or SKUs.

After completing these steps, the stock of the products with the entered EANs or SKUs will be updated and the existing stock levels will be overwritten.
