With Mollie integrated in Afosto, you can easily offer popular payment methods in your webshop. This guide walks you through setting up Mollie as a PSP.

Step 1: Create a Mollie account

Go to https://www.mollie.com and register for an account.

Step 2: Enable desired payment methods

Log in to your Mollie account and activate the payment methods you want to offer (e.g., iDEAL, Credit Card, Bancontact, Klarna, etc.).

Step 3: Configure payment methods in the Afosto Admin

1. Open the Admin app in Afosto.

2. Go to Payment > Payment Methods.

3. Click "Add" to create a new payment method.

Configure the payment method

• Choose a payment method from the list.

• Enter a name (visible to you and your customers).

• Add a clear description and customer instructions.

• Optionally add translations for multilingual stores.

• Define the fees (fixed or percentage), with optional rules based on order value or method.

Save the payment method

✔ Double-check all settings ✔ Set status to active ✔ Click "Save"

⚠️ Make sure the method is also activated in your Mollie account.

Link the PSP

After saving:

1. In the ‘Provider’ column, click ‘Link’

2. Choose:

4. Create a new integration

You only need to create one integration per PSP – this can be reused across multiple payment methods.
