Send stock updates

Manual: Send Stock Updates via Bulk Action (OMS/WMS)

With this bulk action, you can send stock updates for selected SKUs to connected sales channels in one go within afosto.app (OMS/WMS).

Use this when:

• External stock is out of sync.
• You want to manually force an update.
• You recently adjusted stock (e.g. via correction or import).
• A marketplace or webshop is not showing the latest stock.

This bulk action does not change stock — it simply resends the current stock level to connected channels.

What does this bulk action do?

You select SKUs whose current stock you want to republish.

After processing:

• The current available stock is sent again.
• Connected channels (e.g. webshop or marketplace) are updated.
• Synchronization is retriggered.

This is mainly intended as a republish or recovery action.

Step 1 Go to the bulk action

Log in to afosto.app.
Go to Processes.
Open Bulk actions.
Choose Send stock updates.
You will now see a spreadsheet input screen.

Step 2 Select a location

• Give your bulk action a unique reference.
• Select the location where you want to perform this action.
• Click Next to continue.

Step 3 Paste your data into the spreadsheet

You can copy and paste your data directly from Excel or Google Sheets.
The following column can be used (* = required):

What is required?

SKU (required)*

This is the unique product code within Afosto.

Important:

• The SKU must already exist.
• Spelling must match exactly.
• Only existing SKUs can be republished.
• SKU is always leading — not the product name.

How does this work in Afosto terms?

In OMS/WMS:

• Available stock is calculated as warehouse stock minus reservations.
• This stock is shared with external systems via channel integrations.
• This bulk action triggers a new synchronization.

This is not a stock correction.
The action only resends the current stock level.

Step 4 Check your input

Always verify:

• Do all SKUs exist?
• Are these the correct products you want to synchronize?

Step 5 Execute the bulk action

Click Execute.

• The system validates the SKUs.
• If successful, a stock update is sent immediately.
• The update applies in real time to connected sales channels.

Practical example

After processing, the current stock for these three SKUs is republished.

• This action does not modify stock.
• Only existing SKUs can be processed.
• Updates apply in real time to connected channels.
