Partial Shipment

Sometimes it may happen that you cannot send an order in one go. In such cases, Afosto makes it possible to send the order in multiple partial shipments.

To be able to send an order in multiple parts, the already available items will need to be released. In the step-by-step plan below, we explain how this works.

Releasing Products

In the screenshot below, you see an order with 7 products. Of these products, 3 are in stock (and therefore available). The remaining 4 products are not available. You can see this by the green and red dots in the 'Stock' column.

In the action widget on the left side of the order details screen, you do not see the action to ship the products. This is because the products that could already be shipped have not yet been released. To ship them, they must first be released. However, you do see the action to cancel the 4 unavailable products or to assign stock.

To release the products, go to the 'Products' tab. This is located under the order number. Here you select the 3 products that are available and can therefore be shipped. Once you select these, the 'Release' option appears above the products. Click on it to release the available products.

When you now return to the 'Details' tab, you will see that an action has appeared under 'Actions'. It is now possible to ship the 3 available products.

Also, if you now look at the shipping widget on the details tab, you will see that you can ship the 3 available products.
