Why did SuperStellar choose Afosto?

SuperStellar, formerly known as Coccinelle, is a high-end retailer specializing in baby and children's clothing from luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Burberry. With two physical stores, multiple webshops, and a central warehouse in Rotterdam, SuperStellar caters to a demanding clientele seeking premium products and a seamless shopping experience, both online and offline. SuperStellar needed a system that could seamlessly integrate their in-store inventory with their online webshop. Their main challenge was to enable the sale of in-store inventory through their online platform while efficiently combining product flows from both store and warehouse inventory for fulfilling a single order. Prior to the implementation of Afosto, SuperStellar experienced significant discrepancies between store and online inventory levels, leading to overselling, shortages, and frustrated customers. The lack of a unified system resulted in longer order processing times, especially for orders requiring inventory from multiple locations, increasing operational costs and affecting customer satisfaction.

Thanks to a years-long collaboration with SuperStellar, Afosto knew the customer's case inside out and implemented a new Shopify integration along with multi-warehouse functionality to address their challenges. This solution streamlined warehouse and store operations by integrating sales and inventory systems into one efficient system. SuperStellar uses the Afosto OMS to handle webshop orders and synchronize the inventory of their Shopify Plus stores (both online and physical). The advanced Shopify integration ensures that all orders, cancellations, returns, and receipts are synchronized between Afosto and Shopify, providing a real-time inventory overview. SuperStellar also benefits from a mobile WMS app to efficiently pick inventory from preset locations, multi-warehouse management to streamline moving products between locations, crossdocking to combine products from store and warehouse for webshop orders, and in-store pickup for webshop orders with automatic customer notifications. The full implementation took a few weeks, during which Afosto closely collaborated with SuperStellar to expand and optimize functionalities to perfectly match their unique business needs.
